Cancellation information
This page explains the cancellation process where statutory cancellation rights apply. A completed durable copy of the applicable information must be supplied to the customer with the agreed work, price, cancellation deadline and the trader’s owner-approved postal/service address.

Notice of cancellation
To cancel, the customer may send a clear statement by email, WhatsApp or post before the applicable cancellation period expires. The customer may use the model wording below but is not required to do so.

Request to begin work before the cancellation period ends
I expressly request GMP Plumbing Services to begin the agreed service before the end of any applicable cancellation period. I understand that if I cancel after work has started, I may have to pay a proportionate amount for work properly performed and costs properly incurred. I understand that, where the agreed service is completed in full after my express request and acknowledgement, my right to cancel that completed service may end.
