Old or leaking flexible connectionsFlexible tap and appliance hoses can deteriorate, twist, corrode or begin leaking around the threaded ends. Even a small drip can damage the cabinet base, flooring and nearby units if it is ignored. We assess the hose, isolation valve and connection point, then replace unsuitable parts and leave the pipework supported, accessible and checked for leaks.Neat waste and trap pipeworkPoorly aligned waste pipes, loose compression joints or an incorrect fall can cause slow drainage, smells and recurring leaks beneath the sink. A practical layout should allow water to discharge freely while keeping the trap accessible for future cleaning. We can repair, realign or replace local waste sections and test the completed arrangement before use.Kitchen tap and connection workA loose, dripping or difficult-to-operate kitchen tap may waste water and allow moisture to spread into the worktop or sink cabinet. The cause may be the tap itself, worn seals, unstable fixings, flexible hoses or isolation valves below. We assess the complete connection, replace or secure the necessary parts and confirm that the tap operates correctly without leaks.Accessible trap cleaning and minor blockage removalGrease, food residue and debris can collect inside a kitchen trap, leading to slow drainage, unpleasant smells or water backing up into the sink. Leaving the restriction untreated may place extra pressure on weak joints and cause leakage. Where the blockage is local and accessible, we can open and clean the trap, inspect the seals and reassemble it securely.
