Need a dishwasher where there has never been one before? That may still be possible. We can assess the available pipework, waste route, cupboard space and appliance position, then explain what practical alterations are required.
Different examples of this type of job
Every appliance connection is slightly different. Sometimes the existing valve and trap are ready to use. In other homes, the trap needs adapting, a leaking hose needs replacing, or a new suitable water or waste point must be created before the appliance can be connected safely.

The appliance waste hose is fitted to a suitable trap spigot and secured correctly. We check the hose route, clamp and connection to reduce the risk of leaks, movement or waste water backing up.
If the existing trap has no suitable appliance connection, it may need to be replaced or altered. The completed arrangement must remain accessible, properly sealed and suitable for the available space.
The inlet hose is connected to a suitable valve and checked at the thread, seal and hose. Damaged, leaking, excessively stretched or unsuitable hoses can be replaced.
Where there is no suitable valve or waste point, we can assess whether new connections and practical under-sink alterations can be made for a planned washing machine or dishwasher.
Not every location is suitable. The final solution depends on the appliance position, available cupboard space, existing pipe routes, waste fall and access. We assess these details before recommending the work.
